Peter Forsythe BVM&S DVD MRCVS spent 14 years in general practice before specialising in veterinary dermatology. He founded the Dermatology Referral Service in 2001. He is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology and an Honorary Lecturer in Veterinary Dermatology at Glasgow University Veterinary School. Peter has special interests in ear disease and bacterial skin disease. Peter is co-author of a textbook in veterinary dermatology. He is a member of the British College of Veterinary Specialists.
Hilary Jackson ARPS BVM&S DVD DipACVD DipECVD MRCVS joined the Dermatology Referral Service in March 2006. For the 10 years prior to that she held the post of Associate Professor of Veterinary Dermatology at North Carolina State Veterinary School, a worldwide centre of excellence for the study of skin diseases of animals.  She is recognised as a Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology by both the  American and European Colleges of Veterinary Dermatology and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Hilary has a particular interest in allergic diseases and she is a serving member of the International Committee on Allergic Diseases of Animals. 
 Victoria (Tori) Robinson BVM&S BSc(Hons) Cert AVP(VD) Dip ECVD MRCVS qualified from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, in 2008. After several years in general practice, she completed a rotating internship at The University of Liverpool. Tori gained her CertAVP(Veterinary Dermatology) before returning to the University of Edinburgh as a junior clinician in dermatology. After a year at Rutland House Referrals in St Helens she joined the Dermatology Referral Service where she has undertaken her residency training and is now a Diplomate of the European College of veterinary Dermatology.  Outside of work Tori enjoys running, walking and socialising with friends.
Jackie Lamb RVN; Practice Manager at the Dermatology Referral Service. She joined the practice in February 2005 and has a wealth of experience in the day to day running of the practice as well as the investigation and treatment of skin disease in animals.

Wendy Scott RVN started working at the Dermatology Referral Service in June 2019. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary  Nurse in May 2005. Prior to this she spent 17 years working in various roles in a veterinary hospital. She enjoys all aspects of working in Dermatology and every day is a school day, her favourite procedures are ear flushes and skin testing although she finds all procedures are incredibly interesting. In her spare time she likes to walk her dogs and volunteer for a cat charity. She is also very interested and knowledgeable about animal behaviour. All the patients that she works with are treated as if they were her own four- legged family members.


​Alison Wray; Reception
 joined us in July 2019. She is the first point of contact for clients and vets wishing to get in touch with us. She has many years administrative experience and is a indispensable part of the team. She is enjoying expanding her veterinary knowledge and getting to know our clients and their owners.


Andy Bell RVN ; Head Nurse and Clinical Manager,​ graduated with a BSc(Hons) in equine science in 2000 and went on to complete an MSc in equine science at the University of Edinburgh in 2007. During this time studying at Edinburgh Vet School R(D)SVS he realised that he really wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary sector and started his Veterinary Nurse training with the University of Edinburgh in 2012. Andy  completed his Cert VNECC in 2019 and has worked in a variety of senior positions in both referral and OOH. 
Amy Cummings RVN; joined the practice in 2021 and graduated from Harper Adams University in 2013 with a FfSc in Veterinary Nursing. She moved to Scotland from Staffordshire in 2016​.
She brings extensive nursing experience to the practice having worked in the fields of first opinion, emergency and orthopaedics.
She is looking forward to learning about dermatology and meeting new clients and their animals
