Alex has been part of our team since January 2024. One of her biggest motivations is finding practical, individualised long-term management plans that help both patients and owners to improve their quality of life. She also very much enjoys procedures such as laser intervention and video-otoscopy.
She graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2013, completed first an equine internship and then a small animal rotating internship in Hospital Veterinario San Vicente (Spain), where she then stayed working as a veterinary clinician for several years. During these years she developed her passion for dermatology, so in 2019 she decided to move to Milan (Italy) to start a dermatology internship at Studio Dermatologico Veterinario, which was followed by a three year residency program approved by the Eruopean College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD). She completed her training program by the end of 2023.
Apart from work, Alex enjoys hiking, yoga and travelling.
